-Kelly Coach is a point-to-point, regional transportation service that will provide private, on-demand personal/group shuttle service between Thunder Bay, Atikokan and Fort Frances on HWY 11 using a 6-passenger minivan.
-The service is intended as an alternative to a regular scheduled bus route; a business model that has repeatedly proven unfeasible in this region due to the low passenger volume.
– Kelly Coach brings several advantages over a regular scheduled bus route. Clients using Kelly Coach are provided with the option of a same-day round trip, eliminating the need to stay in the city for an entire week to catch the next bus, while saving the client money on hotel accommodations, food, and taxi to and from a bus stop.
-This service is used to attend out-of-town medical appointments, entertainment trips to the city with friends, workers heading out to the remote mining sites, transport medical specimens and supplies.
-Social Service organizations Health Canada ODSP would use the service to transport their clients directly to their destinations with full privacy and security
-The elderly would be assisted from their front door into the vehicle instead of waiting at a bus stop
-Kelly Coach provides free bottled water and Wi-Fi to riders.
